Description:

Climb right hand side fo mottled gray and white face..a good friction climb in the first half before reaching the ledges above..traverse left and up to anchors of KFP. ** rating This year a large section of rock came loose. Most of it has been cleaned up, but watch for loose rock 3/4 up just before the large ledge.

4 out of 5 stars KFC

This route feels run out, and it is. But the harder parts are protected pretty good. The top crux is an easier move that it looks so try not to let the run out get to you.

3 out of 5 stars *

Decent warmup route to get your head on. For some reason the top traverse just below the chains was sketching me out a little bit, but it's solid.

5 out of 5 stars Kentucky Fried Chicken

I don't know why it is called Kentucky Fried Chicken, it reminds me nothing of Kentucky or Fried Chicken. But whatever it was fun.

3 out of 5 stars Long

Good route. Definitely very slabby at first. Not somewhere I would want to take someone for the first time. I don't know why people are saying that it's greasy, it was pretty clean for me. Maybe it's because it's early in the season. Also not a route for those in a group, or looking for a quicker climb, as it is a long route and shares chains with the only other route in the area.

I had to bust out the slab technique for some of this route.
