Description:

Like the book says - Dirty, Vegetated and lichen covered - a good route to pratice pro/anchor placements. There is one bolt at the belay station 20' below the top of the "single pitch" route - build an anchor here and climb a second pitch straight south - likely 5.5 instead of finishing the pitch and doing the class 4 scramble to the summits knife edge for the down climb and skee field walk off around the west side of the buttress.

Wasted my energy on a 5.10 (still out of my ability) so I lead this one to feel a sense of accomplishment, even though it's easy. Came back a week later during the night and lead it again as a warm-up for my first night lead.

Great for practicing gear placements of all sizes, including many opportunities for textbook placement of passive pro. Vegetation doesn't present a problem.
