Sundial Peak
About Sundial Peak:
| from "Rock Climbing Utah's Wasatch Range" guide book - "Approach: Drive up BCC4.2 miles to the first swhitchback of the S-Curve. The road branching off to the right leads to a parking lot and the trailhead to Lake Blanche. A three-mile hike following a good trail is required to reach the lake, and a half-hour scramble reaches the base of Sundial, the prominent summit south of the lake. Descent: The descent can be accomplished by continuing south on the Sundial ridge (toward the true summit) until downclimbing to the east looks feasible. Another option is descending a gully just north of the final ridge to the summit and dropping west. |
| Approach: | Take the Mill B south trail 3 miles to lake blanche. Pass the lake, and scramble to the base of the obvious wall. |
