About Gate Buttress - The Dihedrals:
| About 1.3 miles up from the parking lot. It's sitting up on the left. Approach just west of the Gate Boulders, and follow trail that angles to the right along the foot of the Buttress. Short third/fourth class scramble reaches the routes. The Dihedrals area is south/east facing.... sunny in mornings, shady in the afternoons. LOTS of routes, so don't be scared off if you see a few folks up there (you usually will!). |
