Description:
This is a climb visible from the trail to dead snag arette. The climb features 3 bolts and a mini-overhang. Very nice climb. Deceptively easy climbing, but difficult mental moves. Some bolts are spinners. EDIT, 2007: the first three bolts have been replaced by Monkey courtesy ASCA. A yellow TCU or medium nut protects between the third bolt and the anchor. Another young up-and-coming new-router has extended the route with bolts making a full 100' climb. Don't bother, it's crap. Someone chop the extension, please!

Very fun route. Overhang at first bolt was tricky on lead the first time up, but not a problem after that. Consistent and interesting climbing. Used a #1 TCU after the third bolt. The extension is a new route called "Moral Bells Arete" added in 2007 when the old bolts were replaced. While not as consistent in quality it is worth climbing for the exposure. Please don't chop the route! It doesn't detract from Coral Bells Arete at all.

I love aretes
This is a great arete climb. A good 5.9 climb, well rated. The loose hold is actually pretty sturdy.

really fun
i'm just getting the hang of rock climbing. this one is really fun and rewarding because it is pretty technical with a variety of holds. great view too.
