Description:
Many would call this the BEST 5.9 in the canyon, a splitter 1.5 inch crack up a beautiful mottled face. Direct start up the crack is harder, but less runout, than the face to the left of the crack. Crux is a slight bulge where the crack curves to vertical. Bolted anchors to the left, and right (more popular) of the BIG roof. 2nd pitch up the right is sweet, thin dihedral, 5.9.

Great jams on the upper section! Had to come back and lead this one. Be sure to bring some smaller pieces for the start; save a #2 camalot to protect the traverse to the anchors out right.
