This route climbs the prominent chimney high on the north face of Mt. Olympus. Visible from the ground, the route reaches the summit ridge 300-400' east of the top. The route is 4 or 5 pitches long. A good winter or spring climb if the snow is hard. F.A. O'Dell Peterson,Harold Goodro & Lee Steorts, 1940's

3 out of 5 stars bring water

The approch is a long hike, steep! bring two ropes for the rappel's and slings for the rap station's or bail biners, the stuff thats on there now is trash. Wear a helmet there is alot of loose rock
