Didn't know that grade when I hit it on TR at the end of the day. It gave me some trouble so I'm glad to see it was an 11a. Nice start, a bit tricky in the middle, stout finish. Easy sections in between detract from the overall quality or give you a break depending on your perspective. I was glad for the breaks.

Info on Desperado
The 1st time I climbed this route, a guy was coming down from Ed & Terry wall-- he said it is 11b if you avoid using the left rail/edge on the last few moves, otherwise it's 10b or so. He also said it was a new route he had just put up called "Desperado." This was in about 1999.

This is definatly an 11.a. I think the move going over the roof of impossible dream is harder than any move on this route but this route has a few moves than can be tricky and its length makes it a harder route.
