Description:
This is the crack that is visible on the small formation behind (North of) the small seasonal pond (usually filled in with grass) just above the debris dam on the hike up south fork. The crack starts out nice and varnished but soon turns scary and decomposed. Walk off the top. FA: D Thomas/Jim Richardson 8/1988

Ascent Note
This was the FA, August,1988. Jim and I thought we would run up after work and do a short route and this had looked pretty cool but we never tried it. The first 15 feet are primo varnished crack but then everything goes south and loose, sandy choss finishes the route. I was pulling off big flakes just hoping for some solid holds. I remember being really gripped and covered in dirt. :)
