Description:
South Fork of Taylor Creek: Across (north) from the routes Namaste and Huecos is the Marmot slab. This route is approx. 50 feet right of Pulp Friction and begins as a funky friction move to a small solution pocket mantle to the first clip. It goes straight up the slab to some varnished shallow corners. The finish is a funky pull onto a sandy ledge. FA: D Thomas/Dave Stransky 8/1986 A variation (Sand Surfin' 5.10b) traverses left at the third bolt and goes up a cresent flake to a difficult slab finish. FA Stuart Schneider/R Moore 1990
