Description:
a.k.a Smoot/Ellison Route Ascends the steep middle section of the East face of Mt. Moroni following a diagonaling crack that widens to a chimney (1/4 mile north of Plan B). Start in a right facing corner. 3 bolts lead to a thin crack that is basically followed to the top of the wall. 450' up are some bivy ledges (sloping). 98% of this goes hammerless. If you bring a #4.5 camalot, you can avoid the short 5.10 offwidth section. This is a great route, following a very natural, clean crack system. Rap route or descend off the backside & hike north to the Lady Mt. trail.
