About Moe's Valley:
Vast bouldering area with hundreds of established problems and new first ascents being done all the time. Moe's Valley is made up of Moenkopi formation sandstone, which offers a variety of rock styles: It can be very compact and dense with solid slopers and crimps. Sometimes grainy with pockets, and occasionally petrified wood for holds. Some bouders are conglomerate with weird little cobbles and dishes. With boulders for every skill level, from v0 to v14. Every style, from short pumpy roofs, vertical technical, smeary slabs, highballs and turd-burglars, there is definitely something here for everyone. |

Access Issues: | Moe's Valley is owned by SITLA (http://trustlands.utah.gov/home/index.html) and should be given the utmost respect. Access is not an issue right now, but careless use could easily ruin this area for everyone. Please do not drive beyond the parking area. Please stay on existing trails or in washes at all times to reduce erosion. Don't leave trash. If you must have fire, please don't use wood with nails in it. If you must use wood with nails in it, clean them up when you're done, I'm sick of barefoot tip-toeing around piles of nails and broken glass. Be respectful, please. |
