About Bolton Boulders:

On both sides of the access road to the Bolton Valley ski area, there are some random boulders. Spring and fall are best for exploring, since it is a lot harder to find the boulders once there are leaves on the trees. Other boulders can be found on both sides of the Bolton Notch road, on the way to upper west.
Nearest town or city: Bolton Valley
Directions: Rt 2 to the Bolton Valley access road. Park before you pass the turnout on the right for the UVM outing club. The first boulders are about 2 miles up the road after you pass under I 89.
