Approach: |
From Rt. 5 in Lyndonville VT (exit 23 I-93) go north about 30 min, look for Wheeler Mt Rd on the right about 10-15 min north of the village of West Burke. Follow the road past wheeler pond and after you get to a house on the right there is a marked trailhead on the left for the red & white trails which lead to the left side of the cliffs where the practice slabs are located. To get to the right side of the cliffs where The Great Dihedral/Great Corner is located go further down the road looking for an unmarked trail on the left with a few rocks and logs placed to avoid parking/ driving up the trailhead. Follow this trail up and to the right past a nice large boulder to the base of the cliffs, head right at the base of the cliffs to get to The Great Dihedral, along with many other multi-pitch trad opportunities and a few nice sport routes. |
