About 30 yards behind the stone hut lies a large boulder just uphill from the road. There is a longstanding problem (V4) up the left arete. Slivers starts about 6' to the right of this arete, and pulls over a 6' high bulge onto a slab using some very small crimps and marginal foot-smears. This is a technical testpeice that involves a combination of precise footwork and contact strength. Highly condition dependant so expect the grade to vary. Stay off the arete and in particular, the large jug connected to it, all the way to the top (highball V3/4) to complete the problem. (F.A., Bill Patton '00. S.A., Colin Rickert, '02) ***
