About Winooski Gorge Cliff:

Across the river from The Cut lies at least 2 fully bolted routes with hangers in an interesting riverside location. You can see the cliff by going to the cut and walking down to the river. Directly across the river is a cliff with a cave in the middle. The leftmost route is on a ledge about 10 ft higher than the cave and about 15 ft to the right of it. The next route begins at the mouth of the cave at a bolt about 8 ft. high on the right edge of the mouth.
Approach: Park at the parking lot after the bridge and head in through either of the two hiking trails. Where the railing loops around, rappell down the cliff. The rapell is about 75 ft. Plan accordingly. The routes do not end at the top of the cliff so you will need a way to ascend your rappell rope. The other option would be to put in a boat across the river and boar across.
