When first climbed, by Mark Gonda, aptly named "Son of a Monkey." Nice stretch first move, up 5 ft. to a straight out horizontal roof with tough finger crimps leading about a 12-15 ft shot out to a lip you have to turn. Gettin over the lip is the toughest, but it's fun, it's still workin me, i've been climbing it for almost 2 yrs. -CrazyClimbinFool
i like that name east coast hangover, there was never actually a name for it, anyway im a local climber, practice there on a regular basis, rain, sleet, snow, sun, fog, etc u name it ill go. the overhang kinda protects u from the rain anyway. good place to pratice but im so sick of people filling the holes with sand. takes me about 30 min to traverse the entire overhang
took this kid weeks, but he did it. and it was crazy, intially named "son of a monkey" for the exclamatory remark yelled upon completion, this is now deemed "East Coast Hangover", the time upside down gives quite the head rush.
