About Buzzard Rocks:

This is the ridge top visible from Roadside Crag parking. Turn on the fish hatchery road and look for obvious Buzzard Rocks trail head on right .9 mile past hatchery. 45 minute approach to ridge top and climbs. Mostly long slab climbs with great views. Once on top of ridge trail will slightly descend and then ascend. At top of ascent bear right on to faint trail to the top of Raising Arizona which is main reference point for climbs listed here. This area is listed in the Virginia Climber's Guide as "Little El Cap". More info on the routes can be found at www.blackburn-tree.org/buzzardrock
