Summit Wall
About Summit Wall:
At the summit trail sign walk west towards the summit boulders and find a small corridor between two slabs on the south side of the summit area. Scramble down a short chimney to a faint trail that goes down steeply through the mountain laurels. The cliff is on your right. The climbs top out at 100 feet. All current routes are trad climbs. The routes are described from south to north (or as you encounter them while hiking down the approach trail). There are no fixed anchors atop the crag so descend by walking back down the climber's trail. Tourons galore on the summit but I've never known them to throw stuff off the cliff (thank goodness). |
