Description:

Start on 21st century man, or the cracking. The cracking approach is better for protection. Traverse in left from the cracking, around base of arete. Climb overhanging corners to roof. Pull roof right and belay at second horizontal. Traverse right into cracking (unprotected 5.8) and up to Cracking anchors.

5 out of 5 stars This is my favorite route here

Start on the cracking. Clip the bolt with a 6 ft runner, and go around the base of the arete into a good stem. pro is possible in several places here. Do a few hard cryptic moves and clip the bolt from a jug. The real business is above to the roof. There is a fixed nut in the roof--at last inspection intact. clip this with difficulty and pull a final move out of the roof. There is a good belay with finger to red camalot size. From here, move right and finish on the cracking.
