Upper Hidden Crag
About Upper Hidden Crag:
| The Ridge Trail runs along the base of the east side of this crag. More interesting crack lines are here, along with a single, quite hard, bolted climb. The routes are on the southwest side of the crag and are described from right to left (e.g., as they are encountered from the approach). |
| Approach: | 50m or so north, and just slightly downhill, from where the Ridge Trail turns west towards the summit (a 15 min. hike away), and thus just a few meters north of the slab where the trails to the base of the Whale's Lip & the top of God Crag begin, head west into woods. Go downhill and a bit right, moving along the steep bases of some boulders until one can easily step onto a slab tilted down to the left. Walk down the slab to its end, step off and head to the right along its base, and after a few meters the base of Hidden Crag is reached. |
