ON the upper NW Face. Best approached from the lower talus filled gulley on the west – via a 4th class scramble right onto the lower face half way up - to access the ledge below the upper wall, which can be followed along the base to the north to get to the top ledges. FEARLESS FLY 5.6 ** 100’ F (9b) The left end of the upper face to the 2 ring anchors on the narrow ledge just right of and below the lone thin pine. Begin just above the clump of Serviceberry trees with the rap sling around the base, and end on the ledge just left of the small bush (a directional bolt is on the wall above the ledge).

Descent Options:

There are two options for roped descents of the NW Face; either rap Dog Breath Variations and Aqua Vitae (4 single 60m rope rappels total to the bottom) – not recommended in the wet or dark unless you’re starting at the top of Dog Breath Variations (and n
