About Highway Rock aka Roadside Rock:

Along northeast shore of Banks Lake and on west side of Hwy 155, appx 4 miles south of Electric City or 19 miles north of Dry Falls Dam. Mileage estimated. Park in gravel turnout on west side of Hwy 155 under the obvious 300' plus tall rock. Normally called Highway Rock, it's referred to as Roadside Rock in Inland Northwest Rock Climbs. Features a variety of more than 40 single- to 3-pitch climbs that are fully bolted to fully trad or a mix of both, from 5.7 to 5.12. Beware poison ivy and rattlesnakes on the approach or descent (including rope tosses), and the occasional loose rock in this old layer of granitic gneiss.
