Head straight above Chronic on .12ish climbing to the Extended Illness anchors. Not much more difficult than Chronic unless: Lizard King continues for another 40 feet above the L.P./E.I. anchors and adds two difficult cruxes, coming in at hard .13c. This is 40 meters long and can also be done through Extended Illness proper for a little more length and difficulty.

Descent Options:

A 70m will easily reach from Lizard Prince but Lizard King requires that you re-thread the rope at the Extended Illness anchor or, more awkwardly, trail another rope.

5 out of 5 stars Sein oder nicht sein? to onsight quasi?

So, after 30 + ascents of chronic I decided to go one anchor further this weekend. Onsighted the extension to extended anchor...but this can't hardly be considered onsight climbing. Next go I will try "lizard queen"?? Hey woogles, king or queen? My beta inclusive guide suggests the latter.

5 out of 5 stars The "all the way straight up" version

.13c for this one. If doing the full Lizard King through Extended Illness, rope drag should be evaluated/long slings used in strategic spots.
