Description:
An area classic this is your next step in preparation for bigger things to come, like G.M. and Princely Ambitions. This route starts at the very base of the Great Northern Slab, in the way over toproped fist crack.(Please don't toprope or protect from the "Poor Tree" anymore.) Then goes to the right, up the prominant open book, or "dihedral" as you young pups like to call 'em. Into the flared chimney, that gives climbers fits, and is the technical crux, although the chimney above is almost as hard it isn't as exposed, so it feels alot easier. From the top of the second chimney stroll left out deep cracks to the "Chains". Now Celebrate 'cause this is quite an accomplishment!!!..................... Now go do G.M. Most people go left up a 5.8 undercling imediately above the top of the first chimney instead of doing the second chimney. -Ryan B

Built a gear anchor at the top of the dihedral. I liked the fist jams on the bottom section and the thin crack in the dihedral itself.
