About Practice Cliff:

Sometimes called the Upper Cliffs East or Summit Wall, this is the area closest to the summit parking lot and has been used by various mountaineering groups for practice since at least the 1960's. It is relatively easy to set up top ropes. The rock is a Pre-Carboniferous intrusive rock consisting mostly of diorite. (Dallas Kloke said that, I have no Idea what that means). Friction is average or above.
