From 410 East, go through Bonney Lake and when you hit Buckley Take 165 south. Pass through Burnett, and when you come into the town of Wilkeson, just passed the City hall on the left and store fronts on the right, take Railroad Av. LEFT.
GO exactly 3/4 miles. Make a RIGHT at the Sunset Lake Quarry Sign ( Directly across on the left will be another huge sandstone quarry, Dont go left) Once you make the Right turn, take another immediate RIGHT turn onto the dirt road. This will feel almost like a U-turn (if you follow the other road there is a locked gate) Take this U-turn and follow it exactly 1/2 mile. On the left will be a set of 2 left turns, this is a loop and either one will get you there. These lead immediately into a gravel pit with a bunch of trash and crap. Keep going through it and it will dead end at a locked gate. PARK HERE and hike past the gate. DO NOT BLOCK THE GATE. Follow the road and go right at the split (another loop, going right is faster) This road will lead into another gravel pit and to find the hidden trail you must go perfectly straight across the gravel pit and it will end with a dirt/gravel mound. Jump over this mound and the trail is on the other side. Follow the trail about 1/8 mile to the base of the first wall. Trail follows the walls and then loops up to the crest of the crags |
