Description:

The East Ridge is accessed from Boston Basin by ascending an unnamed glacier and a steep snow gully. The ridge is climbing in 6-8 pitches, ranging from 5.0 to 5.8. The most difficult 5.7 and 5.8 pitches can be bypassed. The descent is committing and is one of the most difficult in the Basin.

We ended up bypassing the last 5.7 intentionally (it was somewhat contrived) and the 5.8 unintentionally (oh well). It was a very nice climb with a neat vantage point. Not the most stellar or sustained rock climbing, but a perfect alpine route.
