It's a slog from the 2700ft tailhead, but from your 7200ft high camp at the foot of the Boulder-Park Cleaver you get some of the most spectacular views to be found in all of the lower 48 of these United States. And, you will most likely have solitude because not many people do this route. There is a single pitch of 4th class to gain Boulder Ridge, which can be slightly tricky in mountaineering boots with a glacier pack when it's wet, but other than that is it standard snow/glacier climbing.
