1 out of 5 stars Avoid it!

Just another dirty grungy unused moderate trad line!

2 out of 5 stars Spiders

I'm a new trad leader and I thought this was a great route for the newbie. Protection is great and climbing is easy (except initial move is a little weird with a rack).

However, there were bugs, spiders and spider webs all over the crack and the traverse. During the crack I was breathing in bugs and the traverse was covered with those big brown spiders - I killed two and knocked down three or four. It made placing pro really scary. I was literally covered with spider webs when I came down.

Just one more phobia I need to overcome!

2 out of 5 stars Ok line

This was kind fun, a nice way to warm down at the end of the day for me. The start is a bit off-putting because it's kind of awkward and you're thinking "5.5? really?" but once you get a little higher things quickly ease off. Straight up the corner and then traverse more or less straight left to the bolt anchors on the adjacent arete sport climb. Took mid-sized to largish gear (.75-4 C4 sizes). Beware of some loose rock if you go too high on the traverse - stay a little lower than you first might guess towards the end and it's fine.

2 out of 5 stars lots of feet

sometimes drippy crack, to horizontal ledge under roof. Nice placements under roof, top-out is full of thorns!
