About Orange Wall:
Lots of long mixed routes, mostly 5.11 and up; very few true sport routes. Many climbs do not have anchors (even if the new guidebook says they do). Although this is on the same side of the Meadow River as a lot of shady sunny crags, the aspect is pretty much south-facing, and is in the sun all day. |

Directions: | Way off the beaten path. Go as if you are approaching the Other Place or Area 51, but keep driving for several miles downstream. About 1.5 miles past the Highway 19 Bridge, you will encounter a tricky jog over some boulders and stumps in the road. About another third mile past this, the river and the road will trend to the right, and Orange Wall will loom over you. Park in the single pullout on the right, and try to find the approach trail up to the cliff. If you hit a railroad tunnel, you have gone tuphar. |
