Description:
About two thirds across on the standard P2 traverse towards the arete there is a 30 ft verticle crack that splits a slightly bulged face at the ledge and very verticle above. This crack reaches the belay ledge of P2. There are some loose blocks down low that seam to be wedged but I would not use them just in case. The 5.9 is a true YDS rating and not a Seneca rating (5.7 to 5.8 seneca).

P2 variation
Took this route by accident. Nice system to get the blood flowing a bit faster. Good exposure and loved the moves.

Ascent Note
A very nice and sustained crack climb variation to P2 that reduces rope drag dramatically on the traditional route. It also ups the ante considerably on difficulty.
