This climb is exactly what the name implies. Start at a sunken section with double cracks, starting from the base of a large tree. Follow them up until they split, continuing on either one to the top. Excellent beginner lead.

The down side is the hiking traffic at base- be aware of stuff that you don't want stepped on. We got there early enough that we missed the worst of it. It's a fun and interesting formation. Good confidence builder for the new guy (or old guy). We set up a Toprope to the left of Balanced rock (when looking down from top) that made for a bit of a swing that I didn't love, but the climb is pretty chunky and low stress & that anchor set us up nicely for der glotz. There is a great big ledge on top below the balanced rock that gives you a killer view of the lake.
