Description:
As you walk up the wooded gulch between the two large Blairs, this crack is on the right, near the north end of the formation, the middle of three thin, semi-parallel cracks. It looks long but starts off a ledge (3rd-class up from the left) so isn't. Fingers and thin hands lead to Vedauwoo's single best pod-jumping experience -- a smooth-walled hole utterly devoid of holds, but with a handcrack at its top, a tantalizing 3 feet above your poor, scrunched, puckered body. Get thru this pod, it's powerful hands to a crisp finger crack finish. To descend: rope each other over a shelf above you, then you can: a) walk off right (south) via heinous tricky downclimbing, or b) rap off coldshuts you'll see exactly opposite Medium Cool, on the east side of the formation. Two ropes should make the ground; with one rope, you're left w/ a 5.8 chimney downclimb or swing over to Deadman's Glove and do a second rap off one of that route's bolts (bring a bail sling or rapid link).
