Description:

This grade IV climbs the east face of "Little Sandy Lake Buttresses". While not as good as Symbiosis, it's still well worth doing. The route ascends the middle and longest of 3 prominent corner systems (the right one is "Symbiosis") on the right side of the face. Begin in a nice crack below the left-most corner. Climb moderate face above and angle up right to a long grassy ledge for a 200' pitch. Move the belay to an alcove on the far right side of the ledge, which marks the start of the middle corner. The next 2 or 3 pitches have the route's hardest climbing, as the corner curves right and then back left. The top part of the corner is very steep and always wet, so after about 400' feet, traverse left below some hanging blocks and take a beautiful hand crack in the corner's left wall up to a good ledge. From the left end of this ledge, 2-3 long moderate pitches connect short corners and ramps, leading steadily up and left to the top of the wall. Descend NW to a notch, then down a very loose gully to the base of the wall. The route hasn't seen much traffic and is a bit dirty in places, but has very good climbing overall. Note: the route was a bit wet in mid-August (even after a long dry spell), so it's probably a waterfall for most of July.

This was the last route of the trip, so I was a bit burned out and the climbing seemed harder than I expected. Aside from some flustration on our 3rd pitch though I really enjoyed it and would recommend it highly.
