About Grapefield:
Grapefield is a large rock formation on the eastern coast of Aruba (close to the islandīs prison). It faces the beach so you even have a chance to work on your white Gym Rat skin! The best hour to climb here is after noon because the sun gets behind the wall and this one give you a shade to climb. Is free and open for everyone to climb. The whole wall is really wide and is divided in 5 section just like you will find below. |
Nearest town or city: | San Nicolas |
Directions: | Take the road to San Nicolas and follow the signs to Seroe Colorado, after a while you will face a T-crossing with a big sculpture (it has the shape of an anchor) turn to the left here and stay on the road, from here simply follow the "climbing Area" signs until you see the islandīs prison to your left. Drive one more kilometer and you will see a sign pointing the location of the wall. |
