About Salar:
| Many high altitude peaks, mostly scrambles on the west end of the Salar de Uyuni. Get to Uyuni from Oruro, hire a jeep and drive for a few days across the biggest salt lake in the world to near the Chilean border. Go further into the high red altiplanos on non-roads and see rare red-collared flamingos, green lakes, snow and nothing else. |
