About Brejo da Madre de Deus:
| The climbing spot is formed by several inselbergs (monadnock) of granit (gneiss). Some of the routes are multi-pitched (250 meters) where protection is usually in place (grampos: brazilian bolts) and some moving protection can be needed for the cracks. There are also one-pitch routes all over the area. Climbing is feasible all year-round however during hot summer days you better stay at shade.
