About Papallacta Cliffs:

On the way to the town of Papallacta (east of Quito) is a deep canyon with many cliffed out areas. Some hiking will be required to reach any of these areas. The rock is volcanic basalt, a lot of it not suitable for climbing. We are still looking for ideal spots but this area looks promising.
Nearest town or city: Papallacta
Directions: Head east toward Cumbaya, then out toward Papallacta; the road to Papallacta passes through a canyon containing many cliff areas within hiking distance of the road. Find a place to park and scout whatever looks good.

Access Issues: The place is actually called sigsipamba on the main hihgway after tumbaco (25 minute drive) via papallacta there is an entrance to the left and follow the road up the hill and then turn right in one of the little streets (right after a massive speedbump) and park there and walk 2 minutes to the cliff base
