Rating: 3 - I don't know what posessed me to get on this route at the end of the day-- when the top 2/3rds of it were in full sun. It definitely detracted from my enjoyment of this climb. Objectively-speaking it is a very nice climb, if you like this sort of slabby bulges, but I did not like the reachy moves, and mostly wished it were over already.

Rating: 3 - First time up (on TR), I got very pumped, as did most of the members of my group. I had a few more ascents before the redpoint, and must have climbed it much smarter on successive attempts, because it was hardly pumpy at all. It was nice to be in the cool corridor on a hot day!

Rating: 5 - Normally I don't gush about climbs, but I will about this one. I loved it!

This climb was at my limit. It took me 3-4 tries to R.P. it.

It was great because the crux was getting to the hold to clip the fifth bolt. I took 10-15 foot falls every time I missed it. I haven't taken many falls before, and after the first time, I stopped being scared, and had a lot of fun.

From the faint flake, go for the pebbly hold on the right first.

Rating: 4 - Easy somewhat pumpy climbing at the bottom, with one sort-of cruxy move. But if you are short, the crux is definitely at the top. Clipping the anchors was a b*tch. Maybe because I just watched a taller person climb it, who simply stood on a huge foothold, reached equally huge jug, and clipped, I had shores over my eyes and kept trying to repeat the same thing. No go.

When I finally got over my frustration and accepted the fact that no matter how hard I try, I will not be able to reach the same clipping hold while standing on that nice shelf, the eyebrow-like ripples on the rock started to look like decent footholds, and everything fell in place.

Rating: 3 - I climbed up to clip the first bolt, then realized I had no draws. I downclimbed, to get some, then finished the onsight.

I also did the 5.11a at or near the end of this wall called "The Muir the Merrier" I redpointed it the same day that I did "Annie the Annihilator", but so far I cannot find it on rc.com. Apparently the Muir Valley people have a message up asking people not to add routes to the Muir Valley database. So I can't post my ascent, until they list it.
