About Flagstaff Mountain:
Flagstaff is one of the biggest established bouldering areas in Colorado. It has many good problems from high commiting moderates to burly short test piece's. If you manage to do some of the harder problems out here, keep in mind that they were probably established in the 60's and early 70's by some acid dropping climber bum. There are many "problems" that have bolts or natural pro placements up top for a TR setup. Plan on spending half a day out here as your skin will go fast on the fountain sandstone formations. All in all this is one hell of an area to be so close to city life. |
