About The Feathers:
The short basalt columns, resembling feathers, are adjecent to the parking/camping at Frenchman Coulee. Due to popularity and close proximity to the road, there are almost always at least one pair of climbers at the Feathers, even on crappy days. The rock is generally solid, and with a few exceptions, safely bolted - i.e. there are just a few climbs where the first bolt is a ways up. |
