Recently, a CAMP tricam was found to have a fault in the pin that holds the sling to the unit. In rare cases, this pin will slide out of the hole with little pressure from a pen or other thin object. All users of tricams should check all of their in service units and if any problems are found, they should retire the unit immediately and contact CAMP USA for a replacement.
