In the Exposition category Long time RC.com poster Douglas Hunter's The Self-Coached Climber is a finalist. The Self-Coached Climber was a finalist for a National Outdoor Book Award last year but did not win, so hopes are high for Banff.

The festival runs from October 27 thought November 4th, and includes a long list of events and appearances.

For more information about the festival and for the complete list of finalists see the Banff website at: http://www.banffcentre.ca/mountainculture/festivals/2007/book/
