Bob, I really don't think May is wet (on El Cap) due to runoff. The snow is already long gone by then. I did Lurking Fear in October, so I can't give you a direct May observation on it. But here are some routes I have done in the spring; never any problems with waterfalls/runoff: March: Never Never Land April: Horse Chute, Shield May: Salathe', Nose I suppose over on Tangerine Trip it could be a bit wet on the first 4 pitches in the spring, and on Zodiac, you might occasionally get drops blown onto you from Horsetail Falls.
