This climber was rc.com member, utahsnowrider Experienced ice climber falls to his death Search and rescue crews say a man was killed when he fell about 200 ft. off a cliff, Sunday morning. The El Paso County Coroner has identified him as Reid Hunt, 32. Authorities say Hunt and his friend were looking over the edge of an ice waterfall near Old Stage Road, when Hunt lost his footing. Both men were experienced climbers and both were deaf. Hunt was a counselor at the Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind. "We got here as quickly as we could," said Mel Druelinger, with search and rescue. "We got the best medical and climbing people, experienced climbing people in the field first."
