Yes is does work. You need to see that there are three calculators on that page. One for Impact Force Calculations and two for Rope Calculations. Use the first one and the bottom two are for calculating your rope modulus for the rope that you are using.
Hey sbaclimber, I used the one on the site that I posted and it came up as 0.0041666666666667.
