Storm clouds over the Upper Enchantments Basin/East end of the stuart range friday night ~8000 feet

Just got back last night from three very thunder stormy days in the Enchantments Lake area (between Dragontail and Prussik...Stewart is the next valley over and not really in the Enchantments Lake Basin but only a few miles away).

The trail in was snow free to aasgard pass ( 7 or 8k feet) and lots of post holing in the basins above that. Talked to some people coming down from Stewart Lake who said the trail was fine that way too. We left our boots in the car and got wet and cold in non waterproof approach shoes and lots of extra socks.

Most rock faces and steep slopes were snow free, but heavy thunderstorms started around 11 am and due to a quite alarm we overslept and were only able to get two pitches of actual rock climbing in but it was still a very fun trip.

Pics from our trip are here:

I have no idea what the glacier up to girth pilar would be like (haven't done the route).
