Hey, I saw this link on climbing.com: http://www.howtoclimbthreegradesharder.com/ has anyone read this book? The descriptions looks like a laundry list of info you could probably mine off this site and a few others at the same time, I'm always curious about new ideas regarding improvement.

i believe they mean three letter grades, not number grades. even so (without checking the link) i dont think this book is any better/worse than any other training manual on the market. climbing is a sport that doesnt really have shortcuts.

THE book counts French grades with a plus or minus. 6a, 6a+, .... , 7a. Training for Climbing is great. This one is ok. Always something to learn from someone. MD

Turn that "snake oil" literature into shit paper. Get off your asses and go climb - Thats how you bump grades and letters. Typical american culture. "no short cuts in this sport". Isn't that a no shitter, unless you live in the states.

In reply to: Typical american culture. "no short cuts in this sport". Isn't that a no s---, unless you live in the states. LMAO - I guess here in the states we take the short cut...and the rest of the world takes the long road.....how is that working out for you? The funniest thing about your stupid statement is the fact that this is an Irish climber based in the UK marketing his wares worldwide...not an American...Genius! ROFLMAO!

Now you just look like a clueless idiot who is too lazy to research about the amazing climbing Texas has. You my friend have now become "an easy target". Nice spelling by the way. IDIOT!

Some of you can even do better than three grades, just ask "Steve". According to the page, Steve increased 6 grades in a day. WTF?

A good diversion tactic to veil your own misguided statement. Oh ouch...you got me with that typing one....and the speedbumps thing is really choice. Now I am really steamed! No one makes fun of my typing! Well this lazy American actually read the text to know from where the book's author was coming. What did you do? Laugh My Funking Ass Off! No climbing in Texas! You must be kidding? Seriously? Your stupidity shows more with each post. Have you ever heard of that little spot out west....Hueco Tanks...they have a little bouldering, a touch of trad and some sport too. You might not have heard about it but it is a pretty good place to climb. You know if I were a lesser person, and you actually had the guts to put a location up on your profile, then maybe I would be here insulting your family and home. I will leave that to you brainchild.

You know you are giving Canadians a bad name here with your stupid moronic insults. My Qubec, friends Christa and Catherine wouldn't approve. So now you have turned to insulting a climbing style...OH NO! He is downing sport climbing....What to do? PSSShHH! Did you even finish the sentence...trad climbing at Hueco! Oh and Enchanted Rock..Reimers..Pecos River Gorge. So do you ever climb? Or is this it? Flaming on the internet? Ohh I see that you do chase lost little boys around in the woods. I hope that your not typical of the Search and Rescue up there, because if so, I feel sorry for anyone that might need your....uh...help....but I think I would pray for Dudly Doright instead! Stay in Canada...Please...for the love of Budda!
