Lone Peak and Olympus are done for the season. Guardsman is probably done too but I am not sure. Lower little cottonwood is killer right now (dihedrals, coffin, bongeater, etc.)
Today: Mostly sunny. Warmer. Highs in the mid 60s. South winds 10-15 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear. Warmer. Lows in the upper 40s. South winds 10-15 mph.

Wednesday: Breezy. Mostly cloudy. Highs in the upper 60s. South winds 15-25 mph.

Wednesday night: Windy. A chance of rain in the evening...then rain likely after midnight. Cloudy. Lows around 40. South winds 20-30 mph shifting to the west 10-15 mph late. Chance of rain 60 percent.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy with a 50 percent chance of rain. Much cooler. Highs around 50.

Thursday night: Cloudy with a 40 percent chance of rain. Lows in the mid 30s.

Friday: Mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of rain. Highs in the upper 40s.

Friday night: Partly cloudy. Lows in the lower 30s.

Saturday: Partly cloudy. A 30 percent chance of rain or rain and snow mixed in the morning. Highs around 50.

Saturday night and Sunday: Mostly clear. Lows in the mid 30s. Highs in the upper 40s and 50s.

Sunday night: Partly cloudy. Lows in the upper 30s.

Monday: Mostly cloudy. Highs in the upper 50s.

Looks like the whole canyon could see snow this week. Bring your boards, it's time for the real season to get under way!

The snow line right now is roughly 8,000' to 9,000'. Conditions can vary greatly depending on your timing. Looks like a cold front will arrive Wed. night, so its relatively warm and sunny til then. I think it will clear up again starting Sat, so lower elevation stuff, particularly LCC, should be in good shape. Olympus ridges may still be doable, but north aspects will seem wintery. Bong Eater, Crescent Crack, Coffin, Egg, etc in lower LCC still get good sun this time of year and you may find yourself climbing in t-shirts even on a 50-degree day. S-Curves in BCC also get good sun and are close to the road.
